How we use smartphones

Interesting. Thanks.

Fascinating- I hadn’t really thought about how different age groups use their smart phone cameras so differently. Thank you.

interesting points. the shallowness does give it a feel of having been generated with AI (I did see two authors mentioned there, but it really has the feel of a secondary school composition).
i was surprised at the idea of selfies being regarded as narcissistic. honestly, i have so much fun with selfies. and not because of narcissism, but simply because i can persuade the model to pose for how long and in whatever poses i want :D and the subject does not get offended by the result. and failures are soooo much fun. but yes, i do get why selfies were disregarded, particularly when the selfiestick got a real rise...

I think that was the most interesting part. And how we use them differently for photography.

I agree about the shallowness but there are interesting points and the point about selfies bears some further thought.

I found this very interesting! Back in 2011 here on 365 phone shots weren't uploaded all that much, but Peter de Graaff said to tag the shots with "phoneography." I still do that with all of my phone shots. I love using my DSLRs and they are used most of the time, but sometimes my phone has to do because it's all I have with me. My LG has almost outlived its usefulness, so I'll be looking for a great camera with my next smartphone. =)

I found the article on smartphone usage quite intriguing. It sheds light on our dependency and its consequences. In this digital age, tools like Tg Macro, an auto-clicker, add another layer to our interactions. It's fascinating to ponder the evolving dynamics between humans and technology.

Thanks for responding. One of the things I found most interesting is how use of smartphones has changed the orientation so that we take more photos with a portrait/vertical orientation.
