Despite not being on duty, I was at the Landmark before the show opened to bring biscuit supplies and also two fully charged SumUps devices which I had also updated with a software update.
After catching up and checking everyone was happy with what they should be doing, I walked to the bus stop and Colin arrived a few minutes later so we could make our way into Kingston. On the way I spotted that the Wisteria is now fully out on the front of the `
Peg Woffington cottages which is a good few weeks earlier than it usually flowers. My aim was to find some new tops and a pair of trousers and Colin wanted to get some currency to take to Germany. I was successful with three tops and trousers from White Stuff - all bought on vouchers. Colin didn’t get the currency as it turned out far cheaper to order online and just collect from the store. We did however, enjoy a shared scone and one free drink in the cafe using Colin’s vouchers.
