Bark

Just a piece of bark on the forest floor. Looks to me like it is from a silver birch tree. The interesting thing is that there don't seem to be any silver birches in the immediate area, although there are in other parts of the woods. Guess something or someone must have carried it here.

An intriguing photograph. The rusty drain, or manhole, next to it is is also very interesting. Silver birch looks like a very attractive wood. Like the little green leaf shooting up next to it.
