Bruges is a beautiful medieval city
almost untouched by time.

be well catered for.
If you like chocolate and beer,

We took a day trip to Bruges, Belgium. I had seen a Hallmark movie called "Love, Romance and Chocolate" and fell in love with Bruges, where the movie was filmed.
It did not disappoint. Bruges is famous for its canals and narrow streets and the Bruges city centre is a UNESCO world heritage site. It's one of Belgium's most well preserved medieval towns and it is a must visit when exploring the country.
In 1089, Bruges became the capital of the County of Flanders. Bruges received its city charter in July 1128 and new walls and canals were built. It is the sixth most populous city in the country.
Totally agree. We loved eating in the 'T Zwart Huis in Bruges where they play jazz and the food is divine! Beer from the Half Moon Brewery and chocolate and lace from just about anywhere......what's not to like!
