The last few days the almost full moon was lower on the horizon and appeared much larger. By the time I could convince DD to get up early enough to view it, it was higher in the sky and not nearly as impressive but he still wanted his photo taken with it
If the time in the details is correct, you took this at 3:56 AM, no wonder DD didn’t want to get up. Nice job getting enough light to see DD without having too much to get the moon.
A tad early, but at least your 30 shots subject/model is eager to have his picture taken with the moon, the iris, the lawn mower etc. My chocolates should take a cue from DD. How do you do it?
This happened to me a couple of days ago. On my way home from watching a basketball game the full moon looked so close with warm colours. I got home grabbed the camera and went up on the roof to take what I was expecting to be fabulous shots. But by then the great show was over.
