Into thin air

5.17 pm: My eldest daughter being thrown in the air by her dad in the dune area Meijendel near The Hague.

Today is Queen's Day in the Netherlands with festivities everywhere. Near our house an open air hardcore dance festival started at 1 pm so we wanted to escape the noise for a while. We found an open space in the woods and spent all of our time there. The girls were busy pottering about, climbing trees, collecting pieces of wood and marvelling at birds and insects.
