At last the clouds cleared and I braved the cold night to capture the Milky Way under the dark skies over Lake Ruataniwha. It was quite magical out there.
@maggiemae It is something I have hankered after for a while so glad I achieved it at last. I have a few additional images as I tried different compositions and long exposure times. Such fun under those amazing dark skies.
