@philcameron59 there is certainly an old copper mine in the village. Not sure the big rocks are local. The water is very peaty which stains the stonework as well.

We have several in Aurora, IL along the Fox River. The bridges aren't nearly as attractive as this one, however.

So good to see a fish ladder, but it's a bit of a drop-off at the bottom end when the river is at this level.
