Felt a bit sorry for myself so bought a tiny 9-18mm lens to compete with the brilliant and much heavier - 7-14.
One is heavy as you might expect, the other incredibly light.
Now may we please have a few clear nights so I can play star gazer?

@susiemc@fishers managed to get out briefly last night so little lens has done his first hour of star trails. He’s not weather proofed but I can make a precautionary waterproof “jacket” to go over the heater. Next job a wide view of the once again raised river.
