Another shot from our hike in the White Peak area of the Peak District.
This is a spectacular view looking into the valley of the River Wye, with the famous Monsal Viaduct on the left hand side of the frame. Note the two vans on the Monsal Trail, there were two workmen dangling over the arches inspecting the brickwork !
If you look into the valley and river you can see the bridge from my previous photo.
We probably passed less people in the 5 hours we were walking than we would walking down the main shopping street in our area of Nottingham.
This was our first time travelling outside of Nottingham, since October 2020.
Beautiful scenery. How lovely it is to be able to go rambling in the countryside. Covid and my camera have taken me to more open spaces than I had ever gone before and meeting almost no living person in the process.
