Hell

Yesterday was one of the worst evenings in my city's hitory. This huge building burnt. Apparently, the façade was covered with some plastic material which was terribly flammable, and it made the fire grow and cover the whole building in minutes. It was the worst fire in recent history - so far, there are 10 dead people, and other 5 are missing; moreover, more than 150 people lost absoulutely everything they had. So very sad and terrifying.

Oh I'm so very sorry for you and your city, I heard about this on the news but didn't realise the similarities with our terrible Grenfell Tower tragedy. That was caused by flammable cladding on the building that made it go up exactly as you described. In what kind of universe do they wrap a building in flammable material!!? 😥

We saw this on our news. It is so sad, especially since something similar happened in the UK a few years ago due to cladding. So very sad.

Oh this is dreadful. We had similar with the Grenfell Tower tragedy. That building was also clad in some highly flammable material which cost people lives and their possessions. Dreadful tragedy

I read about this earlier today. How utterly awful. The photo is gut wrenching.

Hell really effectively sumarises the terrible scenes in your city, and the trauma that many people endured. So simular to the fire here at Grenfell Tower in London in 2017, where flamable cladding covered the building. Slowly here the flamable cladding on buildings is being replaced. Hopefully work to replace such cladding will soon take place inn Spain. I wonder how many buildings there are around the world with a simular risk? Our thoughts are with all affected by this tragedy.

@boxplayer @tinley23 @bkbinthecity @ollyfran @ljmanning @merrelyn @fishers Thanks a lot for your nice comments - my heart breaks for all the victims. And I can't understand how anybody thinks that a highly flammable material is acceptable to use in a block of flats.
