Absolutely beautiful Hazel, my mum carried Lilly of the Valley in her wedding bouquet - today would have been mum and dad's 70th wedding anniversary. I have tried many times to grow these but with no success
Anne, that's a nice memory for you today. I think lily of the valley like a shady place, also maybe a little damp. They grew well in my grandmother's little garden next to a fence, also now in our garden in the shade near our shed. They seem to huddle together - perhaps try planting a few at the same time....
