I used to have a loom similar to this and loved weaving during my high school and college days. But children kind of pushed it to the side and I finally gave it to a young woman who had a weaver ready to teach her but no loom. It went to a good home and we bartered payment for it from her farm animals (eggs and meat). We ate well that summer! Nice collage!
@grammyn Thank you Katy. It's not very long. The class was a weekend class. Friday night, Saturday and half day Sunday. It was fun, but I decided I wouldn't pursue weaving. I had no room and still have none to put a loom. @gardenfolk Thank you. Each block is a different pattern. It would make a short scarf, but I left the tags that explained the different patterns. I don't even remember what they mean anymore. @mccarth1 Thank you Kerry. It was something I always thought I would enjoy doing. And I did enjoy it, but a loom is huge and not portable like needlework. @onewing Thank you Babs. @olivetreeann What a nice story. Looms are big and I had no room for one. I'm sure that young woman enjoy yours immensely.
@mcsiegle I don't really weave. I took a weekend course a number of years ago to see if I'd like enough to invest in equipment. It was fun, but not enough to pay lots of money for a loom that I didn't have space for. I do know weavers and spinners though. And I appreciate the work that goes into finished items.

Thank you everyone. I hope I didn't mislead anybod That's not me at the loom. And to call this scarf, a scarf is probably a little bit of an exaggeration.
