We took a ton of these coins to a coin machine yesterday. They were rolled into tubes of 50 and it took ages to get them out of their plastic and into the machine. Only to find out they were ‘new half pennies’ and not pennies so the machine didn’t accept them. No fun.

You must have been collecting these for a long time - they went out of general circulation at the end of 1984. They make a great photo though!
