This is my work kitchen. Had a full day at the office today. I kind of like it in a strange way. I don't know why but the coffee always tastes better here! Back to B&W again! Also, is that apostrophe in the right place?
Like the B&W shots... Don't ask me about apostrophe's (ironically used in the right place there) as I'm a product of a Thatcherite education... I always check this issue out with a 60 yr old colleague who was schooled old style and knows all about proper grammar...
Lovely shot. Love the black and white. :) French Press is the way to go. And yes, apostrophe is used correctly. It's a possessive. About the only part of apostrophes that I understand. >.< hahah
I'm not a coffee drinker and my punctuation (and spelling) skills are atrocious [I had to look up the spelling]! However, I know a pleasing B&W photo when I see one - this is it.
I love french press coffee. Perfect work coffee shot. Cup, coffee and condiments...all you need to get the day started. I am really liking your black and white shots. Nice.
Nicely balanced and I like the repition in the shapes. I dont really drink coffee at home, there's something about having someone else make it for you.
In answer to your question its in my blood. I am the daughter of an academic who is 70 and still a 'student'. I read a lot from all sorts of sources and have done since I can remember. I only wish it was as easy to retain all the info which is why I write it down here.
You're priceless, Richard! I love a good "Coffee Photo" (as I sit with mine nearby), but the best part was asking about the apostrophe! I had the same concern when I wrote "Girls' Night Out"...) We have to agonize over our photos and now over our spelling! Of course we do...we have teachers in our midst! I'm slowly making my way through the notes of congratulations that were left with the baby photo, and I want to thank you for joining with the community to leave that amazing outpouring! That was so sweet...but that shines through your personality :-) Thanks!
Super shot and super spelling :-)
