This is the first ever time we were able to get an orchid to rebloom. So it’s probably a stretch to call it a half and half (buds vs blossom), but I’m going to.
@paulabriggs Apparently it’s waiting. When you get orchids at the store, they have been forced to bloom. That may put there bloom and rest cycles out of sync with your environment. So after two new leaves appear on each side, then put the orchid next to window glass so it stays colder at night. That is the trick that worked for us. There are lots of suggestions on YouTube.
