Hubby spotted this on our nature walk this morning and called me over to get a photo. According to Wikipedia, it is Rosalia a beetle.

Are you sure that's not a beetle? I only count 6 legs. But I'm no bug expert. 'He' sure has some interesting coloring and markings.
