The "L" (Elevated) is a major part of Chicago's public transportation. It's always visually interesting walking beneath the L, but the sound is deafening when one (or two) go by overhead.
I can remember taking the "L" in the Bronx as a young girl when we'd go to visit my grandparents. My grandfather would take me to the zoo or botanical gardens while the rest of the adults played poker on a Sunday afternoon. Fond memories of those noisy trains and sure don't have visuals of it being this pretty there!
I know where you were! Doing the "Michael Elliott" street crossing. I like the structure's solidity and a bit of panic in feeling the car move toward you straight on. (But the car has one headlight out)
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Hehe!! It's a one-way street so I was safe from behind. And the light was red. I try to be 100% safe when doing something like this!
Thanks for your visit, as always!
