Lantana Zoom Burst by timerskine

Lantana Zoom Burst

My Get Pushed partner for this week, @kali66, gave me the challenge of using "zoom burst" (an effect achieved by turning the zoom ring on the lens while the picture is exposing). This is a shot of the lantana we have on our deck.
@kali66, here's my attempt...

How cool, great effect. I didn't even know you can do such a thing. Thank you for the explanation.

@kali66 Funny you should say "warp Speed." A few years ago I was playing around with my camera and zoomed on some blue and purple flowers, straight down like this shot. Those flowers were in dark mulch so it gave a very sci-fi effect and I called the shot "Warp Speed!" At the time, I had no idea that this was a named technique. In fact, until this week's challenge, I still didn't know that. Thanks for the link showing the different variations.
