Locked up

Hundreds of these locks have been locked up and left at the Seacliff bridge near Coaldale. Not sure if this is common but is definately a wondeful tradition

I've seen these locks on bridges also where I live and in Paris and some other places. They look great! And wow, one dates from 1949!
