This is for get pushed 28 set by @sjoblues. Shannon challenged me to create a book cover for her about to be published book called 'Truth in the mist'.
In her words "so here's what I'm challenging you to do. Somewhat along the lines of the Album Cover Challenge that runs on this site. I am assigning you the task of shooting a cover photograph for a novel I've written and that is about to be published. All you are allowed to know about the novel is its title. The title (thanks to the Random Book Title Generator website) is "Truth in the Mist." So there you go. Provide me an appropriate cover image for my novel "Truth in the Mist." If you want to work it up into a cover and add type and all that, that's fine, but not required. Have fun!"

Very effective book cover. Looks like it really could be one. I find the square format unusual when thinking specifically of book covers but not unheard of. I'm wondering how you set up this shot and with what kind of props.... ?
Wow...I issued the challenge before bed last evening, I log on to 365 this morning and you've already completed it AND claim it was definitely a challenge. I'm very impressed. This is very well done and I think it fits the title of the novel perfectly. (Now I just need to write it...)

thanks everyone. apart from processing the pants off this photo, I resized the image to make the height the same as the width, same thing that you do for 360 degree images.
