Nothing Happened
This metal sign plate I found on the old wooden door to the 'Tinhead Smithy' , in Tinhead.
It reads 'In 1832 on this spot nothing happened'
Is it a sign made by the the smithy who was so bored one day, in that year,as he had no custom?
Does it refer to a local event that was expected to happen but didn't?
Was it made in 1832?
