I had a great day today. I finally decided on Lucas' birthday party. We are going to do a pool party at our gym. A pool party in the winter...how cool is that?! When I called in to the gym for details, who should I speak to, but my potential boss if I get hired. I wasn't planning to call yet to check in, but since I had her on the phone, I asked if she had made her decision yet. Luckily, she hadn't (I was expecting the call yesterday and hadn't heard). She got my availability again. We shall see...
We went to hot yoga in the morning where I danced while doing downward dog, plank and low plank (the music is really fun and kickin'). After that, we attended an extravaganza at the kids school...aka we ate lots of junk to undo the hot yoga. After that, I got ready and went to a photo exhibit for the photo club that I am joining at a local library. It was nice to get out with my mom and look at some amazing photos and talk to some really neat and nice seeming photographers. Looking foward to being a part of the group:).
Here is another paper shot for my get pushed paper challenge. My mom makes cards and has tons of fun paper. I asked her to use some and coerced her into holding it for me as I snapped some shots. My arm isn't long enough for my freakin' zoom lens. Sheesh...hope that I either win some contest money or get a job so that I can afford another lens soon. Haha! I didn't get anything out of holding that sign. I *did* happen to see someone locally selling an 18-55mm for $50! I wonder if there was something wrong with it?! Great price!
fun shot!! Love the idea of the pool party in the winter too. Sounds like a blast! I have a friend that teaches hot yoga...it's her favorite! She doesn't live here though!! I wish we had it in town, but I don't know of anywhere that does it. I'll have to stick to my pilates at home. :)
Great shot. As I was reading I thought you were wanting to win some money to get your arms extended but yeah a new lens would be a less painful solution :)

@bpaquette It didn't and probably for the best. I was worried that working there would cause me not to want to work out anymore. We aren't there like crazy people...2-3 times per week or so. My hubby is doing his own thing at his work gym now 4 morning per week.
