I looked out my back window a bit ago and noticed this tree all lit up in white flowers. It seems to have happened overnight. Spring is really finally underway here.
It's our first spring in OH...the first time being here at the start of it. Last year it came early, just before we moved. It started in California last winter in January.
It's so strange to me that we've been gone from CA for one year now. It really feels like longer, like that was a lifetime ago. But like the spring bursting forth, we are also blooming in our new life.
And today, I am showing off my pasty white arms in short sleeves:). Never thought I could be so pale.
This is a lovely, soft shot! So glad that spring has sprung for you! I always feel like spring is something that makes the upper Midwest so, so worthwhile. If only it wouldn't take so long to come ... !
@cheribug Nope, I am new here and this is so different from any I've ever seen. My neighbor thought some type of magnolia? Thanks so much for the fav, sweet lady!!:)
@cheribug Wow, cool...that's a fancy name!! Thanks for telling me.
@losthorizon You are funny. Thank you...that is all! I struggle with avoiding flowers because some of my friends on here hate them so, but you can't avoid them in the spring.
Beautiful flowers. Glad the spring arrived to you. Dead Amanda I know from experience how difficult those transfers are, but God works in mysterious ways. The spring is like a renewal in the cycle of life; enjoy the season. Smiles to you, lady Amanda.
Gorgeous, Amanda. Love that soft, dreamy looking background. Ah, Spring. I'm sitting here looking out the window at snow, yes snow, falling on April 11th. Ugh!
Thanks all of you so very much for your sweet comments about my lovely spring find. It was my first time ever seeing this flower/bloom before. It's a Magnolia Stellata Waterlily Star thanks to Cheryl @cheribug letting me know. I have another time of year to love here now:).
