Today I need a city fix. This was taken at sunset on my first day in NYC and was about as close as I got to a night shot this time around.
I am already plotting how I can get back. There are still so many things that I didn't get to see and photograph. I've decided that I need to find a temporary weekend job there that will pay for me to go...hmmmm....
This week, I am keeping busy with the kiddos (trips to the pool and library, movies, games and reading lots of books), planning our upcoming summer trips, cleaning my messy, messy house and applying for jobs.
I am not leaving 365, just trying to cut back on the crazy and prioritizing my time better. I will be around, just not in the capacity I was. I even hope to continue to post everyday.
I get such a kick out of seeing you post NYC shots. So glad you enjoyed your time here and was terrific meeting you. This shot is very @michaelelliott esque.

@darrenboyj Were you into photography then? Oh the hecticness was so amazing to photograph. I adored it. So many photos ops everywhere you look. I don't think that I could live there for long, though. Thanks, Darren!
@adamj That's a compliment, Adam. Thank you! I had such a blast. I got home two weeks ago yesterday. Heel is still healing after the wicked rubbing shoes, too.
@anzere03 So messed up. I keep trying to have it all. Except the kiddos are getting the short end of the stick. Just trying to cut back on the excessive and OCD like checking and commenting. Hope I succeed! So far, not so good:). Thank you. So kicking myself for not getting a better night shot, but I was done for the day come night time.
Really great shot! Love the light, action, and composition. Wonderful. If you figure out that job situation let me know. I always wanted to be one of those travel people on T.V. that goes all over the world and get paid for it!!!

Now this i like. I am so sorry I have neglected your project Amanda. I have been so busy, and now I am going on hols until Aug 10th! I promise to be a better friend when I return :)
