The huntsmen couldn't do it. He simply could not kill an innocent child. He told Snow White the queen's evil desires and told her to stay far away from the kingdom, never return to the castle again.
And then he left the poor frightened girl and headed back to the castle himself, hoping that an animal's heart in the box would satisfy and trick the wicked queen.
Alone and terrified, Snow White set out to find some food and shelter in the spooky, misty woods. The branches seemed to be reaching right out to grab her and it took all her power to will her legs to keep walking and to not just collapse to the ground and cry.
What would become of her? And what was she going to eat for dinner? Lunch was hours ago.
Mad Hatters are telling the story of Snow White this week. I started it out with the evil queen scene on Monday and Edie had an awesome shot of Snow going off into the woods with the huntsman yesterday. This is the next part and Jeff will tell more today. Check it out at @madhatters. Also, play along and tag your Snow White shots this week with madhatters-snowwhite.
Can't believe this was a super quick shot in your backyard! It looks like you are really out in the woods somewhere and the branches ARE reaching out for you! Perfect and I am loving this theme! Fav for sure!!!
@kwind This was a 15 minute slap job. I often don't spend time daily and hadn't shot anything since last weekend, but I did spend a bit of time processing this one.
@wannabe Aw, thanks so much, lady! Really appreciate that!
@rachelwithey Yes, it felt so good to put it back on. I reborrowed it from my friend for the queen shoot and thought it would work for Snow, too.
@archaeofrog Must say that I was annoyed that my legs didn't make it in the shot, but it did make me look smaller, I guess. Thanks!
@anazad511 I was in chorus so performed a bunch with that and drama for just on year. Was only in one play in high school and had only a couple bit parts (of which I made the very most off and went a bit over the top). Like I had a southern accent for an orphan girl in NYC. Wished I had done more with it and am looking into getting involved with a local theater here.
@stimuloog Just went out in my backward for a few minutes in the drizzling rain, shot this with me down a hill in the woods and edited. I wished I hadn't missed my legs in the shot but did it quick and had to get back in from the rain and to my little one.
@thresheg Thank you so much for that, Graham!!
@kerristephens Thanks, Kerri.
@m9f9l You rock, Mary. Thank you!!!
@roseolivia Thanks, Rachel. I just had to wear the red hood again:).
@dh Love your description, Delena. Thank you!
