Inferno by alophoto

Inferno

Since it was 0 degrees last night, we decided to have a fire to warm up a bit. When we were through and about to go to bed, I did a quick ICM shot of the inferno. Amazing how big the ICM made the small fire look...like we had a bonfire blaze in our fireplace.

Here is a little song that goes and will help kick off the weekend: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMqgVXSvwGo

And guess what, the kids have another snow day today. That is NO school for the whole week! And the weekend is about to begin. We got an unexpected extra spring break.
Wow. That is very cool. Now you just need to somehow make it a selfie...

I agree with Edie on the selfie......Perhaps a devil standing by? Now this is one 'hot' ICM. (I won't say cool)

We are also having insane weather in Georgia. Windchill was minus 5 yesterday. I had a fire last night, it was so warm. This is a lovely capture, even better on black. FAV

@graemestevens Well darn it and I'm not even in there. Should have made it a selfie. Truth be told, I think that black blob on the bottom left is my foot:).

What a great shot, Amanda. I love this. What is ICM? FAV

@darsphotos Thank you...intentional camera movement. Usually it makes things abstract, but made the fire big. 25 second handheld moving up and down exposure.

Our kids have been out all week, too. Great idea to have a fire!
February 21st, 2015
@amandal Thanks, Amanda. I will have to check this out. It worked great for your fire.
