Sure the love is sometimes a little squashed and messy. But whose isn't?!
The birthday ended in meanness, correction, glares, tears, humbleness, apologies, forgiveness and a teachable moment. What a good day! It really was...this isn't sarcasm.
I guess we are entering those years...seems like we have been there for quite some time. Lord help me...help me to be a good teacher and help me to be able to admit when I am wrong (which happens occasionally, too)!
Happy that each day we get to start fresh...a do over.
