Most of the dogs of Juarez roamed the street, feral. They seemed nice enough, but were just walking around anywhere they pleased and carrying with them the smell of zoo elephants. It was another rather sad thing about the city.
This one had a home, a yard. This one was loved. And he told me through the fence with his proud eyes.
He looks very much like the dogs I see here...different country same plight...not enough for everyone...glad he has a home and loving family...you captured him very well...after photographing so many dogs I find a distinct personality in each...
Oh that is so sad! We have no stray dogs here, cats maybe but because it gets so cold during the winter here so the homeless animals would not survive :( I think it´s horrible that people take animals and then just leave them, such cruelty. Happy about this one has a home, he does look rather sad though, maybe he´s sad cos so many of his kind are homeless :(
