Yesterday, I let my dog out before running to the grocery store. I really packed up my day with getting stuff done.
Well the day was absolutely beautiful and sunny and Hope ran to the front lawn, rolled around a bit and then lay down. I stood in the doorway tapping my toe, thinking...I've got to go, but then I thought...that looks nice. So I joined her, lying there in the lawn with my face in the sunshine for a bit. And it felt marvelous!
While we were basking in the yard, the new neighbor teens were doing some kind of work on their driveway. They were out there for hours and I wondered what it was they were making.
Yesterday evening when I took Hope for a walk, I saw their masterpiece...a chalk drawing of their dog, Angus. Perhaps it was his birthday yesterday as he is wearing a crown.
While I was out walking, it began to pour and continued to rain on and off last night, so I'm sure Angus here is gone. All that time spent with no Angus to show for it.
So glad there are photos to capture and remember. Certainly they snap chatted this amazing work.
Have a great day, my friends...and thanks so much for your continued support. Next week I wrap up 5 years on here...a half a decade. That's crazy stuff!
Wow it was a beautiful day yesterday and I took a walk around the block to enjoy it. You should print this for them since they probably used their phones if they took a picture.
