This is a total first world problem, but this morning I woke up to find the watermelon that I bought Monday, rotted and leaked open and spilling juice all over my countertop and floor. A big fat drippy, sticky mess. Sigh. How do I go about taking that back to the store? I don't want it to drip all over my car, but gosh, it shouldn't do that in a few days, right?
And then there is the fact that pay day is still a week away and that our country and the world are in utter chaos and I have jury duty next week for possibly two weeks and the kids have been bickering lots and...
Sometimes, often, life is harder than I'd like it to be. That's why I try to have as much fun as I can and laugh lots. It sure helps with the difficulty of it all.

Sometimes its a little things that push you over the edge, like a rotten watermelon. My mother always said "get a good night's sleep and it will be better in the morning."
There was a male orangutan in the enclosure with the two I took pictures of. He looked just like this guy. Very sedate. Makes you wonder if they are more active in the wild or if they are really docile creatures?
