This visitor is not welcome! That's why everything that falls under the birdfeeder should be cleaned up. But then again black birds and pheasants would get nothing to eat because they can't sit at the birdfeeder.
My husband arranged a special feast for the rat in a place where birds can't go. I have not seen the rat anymore.
