I went to pick lingonberries (or cowberries) and saw quite many examples of this disease. In the woods there were and still are plenty of lingonberries, but I got already enough for me and for some family members. Why are they called cowberries (in Latin too)? Did cows eat them at the time when they were still grazing in the forests?
