I did very little yesterday and spent several hours watching the plane that my family were on, until it landed at its destination. I use ‘Plane Finder’ and I also have it on my phone, so when I went to feed their animals I took it in my pocket; sad person that I am.
So this morning after I had checked the animals, filled the car with diesel, fetched the prescriptions and made a brief visit to the village shop, I decided that it was time to refresh the front window boxes and tubs. While I was working I saw a brown moth, it was flapping its wings continually. I thought it would make a good picture, but when I went to look later I could not see it.
Later still, while watering at the front of the house I was amazed to see Dougal laying on the front lawn; he never does this. He was clearly watching this moth; I had to move it out of the grass before Dougal would come in. It is not as sharp as it ought to be, but it would not keep still.
Other than that I have caught up with MasterChef, done a few inside jobs and very little else! My excuse? It is too hot.
