I know this picture was taken two years ago but I would really like to share it with you all. we were so proud that our granddaughter Shayelynne was chosen to portray Maria. Jesus was a real baby she held in her arms but when it got a bit cranky the mom had to come to the rescue as you can see in this picture
I don't mind that it is a bit older - thanks for sharing the picture and how important it is for you Bruni. Great to see the real Christmas story remembered.
very cute noything better than seeing children with the obligatory tea towel on the head lol

@ukers Im sure they hae the right child to play the angle. but I muss confess I have the wrong child as I said my daughter Debbi but it was not here but her daughter our grandchild her name is Shayelynne
@ Kerri Stephens @Robert Velten @Richard Schuster @Richard Harcombe @Malissa Pike @Fiona Kierans Dunne. It must have been quite late last night when I wrote the little story about our daughter Debbi being in the pageant. not my daughter Debbi but her little girl-our grandchild- Shayelynne who just turned 12 in November. I have a tendency to mix up their names all the time.
@mole yes she was excited that she was picked for the role of Maria not so sure if she was happy when the baby started to get restless. but mother of the baby was right there to give a helping hand. ...and of course Oma (me) and Opa (her granddad) were very proud not only of Shayelynne but also of her mom..she is awesome.
