We have friends comming over tonight, so I made some Zacher hearts and glazed them with chocolate.
I don't have to say how delicious that is. Rich chocolate with rich chocolate, and the good kind of chocolate...
I am already full of chocolate because somebody has to eat leftovers of liquid chocolate.
Anyway, my baby girl will have her 13 bday soon and the party of our friends are comming over, as ussually, to catch up. We have been friends forever. Three guys that went with my hubby to high school, and their wifes.
The story is that all of us girls met their husbands while they were in high school, so all of us four couples started to go out together before we were 18... This friendship is going on for more then 25 years. We are friends for more than half of our lifes. And we still get together, we are all somehow linked (godfathers or best men kind of way). We all have two or three kids that get along great. So I am looking forward to a relaxed evening. It is really easy to host people that feel like at home when they come to visit!

Your story of the friendship among you and your husband and the other couples is touching. One of my closest friends is someone I met when we were both about 12, well over 60 years ago. We became best friends in high school, and although we live in different cities, we still visit back and forth and talk to each other on the phone every week. The value of a friendship going back that far is immeasurable.
