(Day 355) - Gummy without Color

Usually I photograph gummy candy in color but thought it would be cool to create a black and white shot of one. Love the look. Plus wanted to experiment a bit so this is the first time ever that I purposely left a few of the spots and blemishes. There was something vintage about them, almost gives the photograph a film look.

Got an interesting fact for ya: Did you know the gummy worm was first created in 1981 by the Trolli Company? The intent was to give children something fun to eat, while mildly shocking parents. No wonder my grandmother cringes every time she sees a gummy worm! But how can anyone not love that squishy, yummy face? :D
