(Day 41) - Care for a Blorange?

I'm shooting blue all week long but there's a hidden theme for Thursdays: Citrus!

So how was I gonna pull off a blue citrus fruit? Meet the blorange!

This was a cool little idea I found online. Basically, you soak any citrus fruit in food coloring or Kool-aid for a few hours, then freeze it. And get this: Use various colors and add these citrus fruits to any party punch for a colorful burst! ◕‿◕
Ah ha, very clever! Its great that you let us into some of your secrets - it helps me, as a beginner, to try some myself :)

@alinz - Thank you Ali! And you're welcome, I don't mind sharing my photo techniques and secrets because it's cool seeing others try them out with their own style. Plus some ideas I've recycled myself! :D

@sleepingbeauty - Thank you Tasha! What I've done recently is schedule the photos I want to take and then I devote at least an hour a day to taking the photo I scheduled. Sometimes it takes me much shorter than an hour, other times much longer. Sometimes I'm so busy that I don't get that hour and wait 'til the last minute but I still got my photo in and learned something. Anyhoo, do your best, keep learning, and even the so-called average photo may end of being more liked than you thought. :)

@ladygator - At the first the original color would seep through but after I froze it, the blue became much darker. Thanks Nancy!
