Moms do soooo much for the family. But they have other skills and interests too. Some you might not even know about. The little Clips found out that their mom is a master at the hula hoop. She's on number 174! Impressive! :)
Do you know what awesome skills or interests your mom has? They might surprise you (In fact, many of you are outstanding photographers). :D
How fun! Well, my mom did not do the hula hoop, but she loved to sing, read and could do a specialized form of needlework called "smocking" which was basically done on dresses. She had a great deal of appreciation for the arts too. She would have loved this series!
@taffy Thanks Taffy! I wish I had a solid answer to where I get these ideas but I don't. Haha. Guess you can say that I have a very active imagination. I used to take everyday things and make them "alive" in my play as a kid so maybe that's where it comes from.
@granagringa They grow up so fast! Plus she's getting closer to that "taller than boys" phase. Junior should catch up once he hits his gowth spurt. :) Thanks for all the wonderful comments.
@olivetreeann Thanks for sharing your mom's super skills, Ann!! I've never heard of smocking before but after looking it up, it looks really, really beautiful. Your mom sounded like a truly wonderful mom. :)
@stephanies - My mom liked it in her younger days (along with jump rope) but her awesome skill now is dancing and she can snap her fingers so loudly. Really amazing to hear about your mum's piano and story skills. So sweet! Also thank you for all of your recent comments!! Each and every one encouraged me! :)
