The End of the Road - Sol Legare Road

photo 530
This was taken just off Folly Beach near Charleston, SC. To be precise - at the end of Sol Legare Road. There had been black clouds for a good part of the afternoon and still were on either side of this beautiful sunny spot. You can see that it was still raining in the foreground.
Best viewed large.

Wonderful capture. So cool to have the lighting focused on the ripples caused by the rain.

Wow, oh wow! Those rays and the reflection of those rays in the water is what made this a fave for me. My daughter used to live in Charleston and we visited Folly Beach while she lived there. First we saw the Angel Oak (and got some awesome family pics) and then had fish tacos at local joint. Your photo evoked such good memories...

Gorgeous Cindy, you say SC is that South Carolina? I only ask as my very good and lovely friend lives in Bluffton. Do you live in Sc do you know it?

I love the expanse of the sea and sky with all the gorgeous blues as well as the ray highlighting the rippled area. Very well done and a fav, Cindy!

@claireuk - Yes, It is South Carolina. I don't live in the area, but I am working here this week. I'm told that Bluffton is only about an hour away.
