16th Nov 2012 - Sansanqua camellia has been in bloom here in the Lowcountry of South Carolina for a couple of months now. It is one of the most exquisitely perfect and beautiful flowers imaginable, and we get to see them in all their glory for long periods of time in Fall and early winter. There are pink and white varieties and they never cease to amaze me with their simple, yet complex form, shapes and color.
