This morning we awoke to rain.....
Plans to take down the awning were delayed.
So we had a lovely relaxed morning reading.
Then the sun appeared and the temperature rocketed!
Beach! We cried and packed the car....
We drove off the site, and then stopped and looked at the black clouds looming, and thought of the awning drying in the sun...
and turned around and went back and took the awning down.
Then we decided that actually we may as well pack up and go home.
We left just after 5.00pm and a new arrival was on our pitch before we left the site - I hope they like earwigs!
Lovely relaxed drive home.
Roads were really quiet, quite often only a few cars in sight.
Unfortunately no new services had been built in the fortnight we had been away, so we did the journey home in one go!
Here's my daughter, settled down with a book, supposed to be brushing her hair, and very happy to be home again,
despite the fact that we couldn't take Norfolk home with us,
as it wouldn't fit in the caravan....
