The old building was demolished a couple of years ago, but nothing has taken it's place. it was an old church style building, for many years used as a base for the WRVS. Latterly it was a base for Surestart and other organisations. I wonder when something will finally be built here, and what it will be?
It seems to be the way of a lot of buildings demolished just before the financial crisis. They demolished a beautiful Victorian school down our road and the land was/is worth a fortune - at the moment it's a very expensive scrubby field.
