Today I had a meeting and very little opportunity to take photos, but as I was walking along I glanced over the church wall and took this shot.
I thought about Cynthia, presumably an only child, whose parents died relatively young. her name was not visible from where I stood, so is she still alive? How often did she visit her parents grave? Did she gain solace from this?
Did she marry, have a family? Have lovers? Gain a degree?
I can't tell now if the flowers are on the same grave or not, but they are left by someone in memory of someone they loved. I added an effect to echo the flower container.
Notice the weak January sun on the back of the grave stones.
