Yesterday we visited the Elan Valley.
We stopped by a pretty stone bridge to take a few shots, as you do.
I could hear the roar of what I thought was a waterfall.
Then through the trees I could see a white wall of water falling around 180 feet from a dam.
it is possible to go and stand close to the base, and stand there and feel the spray on your face, watering the trees and plans that grow there.
The sun was shinning, and the sound of the water was incredible.
A beautiful place to return to, with a cafe close by, which oddly we didn't visit this time...
