“Put a jumper on, honey!”
“But I can’t because it’s not part of fashion!
Everyone should dress like me - tee shirt, jeans, scarf and hat.
I think I should be in a fashion magazine for teenage girls.”
“How about if I take your picture, then you can go and put on a jumper.” I suggested.
“OK”
I took the picture.
She departed
and returned in her gillet.

@gwhit123 Thank you :) My daughter is 13 and autistic, so she is nowhere near as sophisticated as your average teenager, and has her own unique slant on life!
@daffodill i have this still to come, mines 5! boys are so much easier. as for "not as sophisticated" i thinks shes got it bang on - setting trends not following them!
As a mom of a 21 year old and a 17 year old I have learned this: As long as the vitals are covered, it's okay :D My clothing designer daughter will tell you that if you are happy with what you are wearing, it is your fashion expression and you should wear it with confidence and pride and you are the fashion. I think your daughter knows this little secret already.
