An amble-y sort of day.
We decided to visit the church at Martin Hussingtree, but discovered the church at Salwarpe instead. Salwarpe church hit the headlines earlier in the year when a tree blew on to the church in a storm. The tree has long gone, but the repairs to the church will take a little longer...
It's still open, and used for worship, with one bit cordoned off, and a boarded up window. The stone work still looks loose.
Next to the church we discovered a canal, river and weir, and some reed beds. All this about two miles from Droitwich town.
