beautiful shot, denise! @nicolecampbell, if the plant bloomed, then disappeared, that's ok. it will come back next year. this disappearing act is most likely to happen if your specimen is one of the older varieties of bleeding heart. newer varieties will last longer after blooming.
Wow. I seriously thought that early in your year 2, you were going to run out of flower shots to do, but you just keep pumping them out, don't you? This makes me think of that old hymn "All things bright and beautiful"....
