Great perspective and I love the light cast on the pearls, if you are able to lighten up the levels and contrast a bit... I think because the fabric and pearls to me should be softer looking, great job

I like it the way it is, but you might want to try putting the sharp focus at the forefront of the photo and working softer as you go back, instead of the sharpest focus in the center of the photo. It might not be any better, but you could look at both and decide.

The title of your discussion thread, being just a question mark, was very difficult to click on with accuracy.

As for the photo - it's nice, and I like the depth-of-field, but it could maybe do with being a little brighter? It is (I assume!) a wedding dress, so it needs to shine!

@megc1 I like the perspective but I think it would be nicer if you got a litle more of the dress in the shot. Go for a shot that gives moret length to it

textures and tones.
but. if you write a story behind it , i think you will receive a lot of comments . =)

I don't know if it's a little late to reply, but with this, I'd try and make it just a tad brighter, while making the shadows more defined, so there's a stronger contrast, but also to make the details (pearls, sewed designs) more clear, but keeping them soft, if that makes any sense. As for the focus itself, I actually think it looks better with the focus in the middle than if it started clear in the front and got more blurry, but without actually seeing it, I can't know for sure. So I'd definitely try it several different ways, changing up the dof, and lighting and things. Hope this helps.
