pov and dof

Still working on the dof for the challenge.
Nice shot! What lens are you using? I find that i get the best dof with my 50mm and especially when i am shooting something ( like a flower) close up...you can get good dof with other lenses of course but i do enjoy the 50mm alot! Is your camera capable of changing out lenses?

@ellimae I used my 55 lens. I do have other lenses but tend to use the 55 most of the time. I have been experimenting with the aperture settings this week for one of the weekly challenges. I've never adjusted the aperture before until now. Thanks for the comment Ellen.

Looks like you have a great start toward a shallow DOF. The wood is in nice focus and the trees in the background are out of focus. To get even more shallow, use a low number F-stop, zoom in, and get close to the subject.
